PLV40FE contains a uniquely shaped single loop sensor that forms part of the oscillation system.
When the fluid flows through the sensor circuit, the Coriolis force causes a variable phase shift, which is detected by the sensor and transmitted to the DSP processor on the integrated circuit board for processing.
The output signal generated by the variable phase shift is strictly proportional to the actual mass flow rate,

PLV40FE-X simultaneously measures mass flow rate, fluid density, and temperature and outputs two levels of accuracy: ± 0.25% for liquid measurement or ± 0.5% for gas measurement.
